Regardless of breed and ear shape, healthy ears should have a pink coloration on the inside, be free of odors and produce little to no earwax. They do not require any special care as they are able to clean themselves. An exception to this are dogs that tend to have a narrow ear canal or heavy hair growth in their ears due to their breed, which prevents the natural drainage of earwax (cerumen). Food or environmental allergies as well as foreign bodies in the ear canal, ear mites or infections also cause itching of the ears.

Visually, irritations on the outer ear can usually be recognized by redness, warmth or even swelling or crusts. Over time, an unpleasant smelling secretion, sebum and cerumen are secreted from the ear, which can form a breeding ground for pathogenic fungi and bacteria.

Dogs with very hairy ears or drooping ears are particularly susceptible.

What is colloidal silver?

Silver water (colloidal silver) is a colloid containing tiny silver particles that repel each other due to their electrical charge and are therefore in a state of suspension. The silver particles are so small that even the smallest bacterium is still many times larger. And this is precisely the special feature of silver water, because the smaller the silver particles are, the greater the regulating effect.

Calendula - The marigold is balm for the skin

The pretty flowers of the marigold are traditionally used for skin care and are used wherever sensitive and irritated skin needs to be soothed. Marigold can also have a skin-protecting effect on the sensitive tissue in the ear thanks to its nourishing properties.

Our 25 ppm silver water is produced freshly using high-purity distilled water by electrolytic means with the help of an appropriate generator. The formula is refined with nourishing and skin-soothing calendula extract and bottled immediately. The smallest particles of 99.99 % pure silver are formed and distributed in distilled water. No preservatives are used.

Silver water 99.99 % (multi-distilled water, silver), natural marigold extract (Calendula officinalis)

Concentration: 25 ppm (25 mg/l)

Carefully guide the ear drops to the ear and apply them to the external auditory canal by pressing lightly on the bottle. Then gently massage the outside of the ear with your whole hand. After application, the animal will shake itself. The ear drops can be used daily - 3 - 6 drops until the ear is well moisturized.
