Golden turmeric paste recipe
Ingredients:- 1/4l vegetable stock
- 60g fresh grated or ground turmeric
- 70ml AniForte® coconut oil (or AniForte® linseed oil)
- 1 measuring spoon of AniForte ® propolis powder
- 1 g freshly ground black pepper
- Stir the turmeric into the vegetable stock and bring to the boil briefly. Continue to cook on a low heat until a thick paste forms.
- Remove the turmeric paste from the heat and add the remaining ingredients. Mix everything together well and leave the paste to cool.
- If the consistency is too thick, add a little more vegetable stock.
Feeding golden turmeric paste correctly
We recommend getting your dog used to the paste slowly. It is best to start with a pinch of Golden Paste once a day as a feed. Feed your four-legged friend this amount over 3-4 days. If your dog does not show any side effects such as diarrhea or vomiting, you can slowly increase the dosage and feed it several times a day.
Tip: It is best to feed the Golden Paste with food. This is because turmeric is fat-soluble and is better absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract in combination with fatty foods.
Feeding recommendation:- Small dogs up to 10 kg - 1/4 teaspoon twice a day
- Medium-sized dogs up to 25 kg - ½ teaspoon 2-3 times a day
- Large dogs over 25 kg - 1 teaspoon twice a day
